Nutrition

Our aim is to provide our children with a balanced and nutritional diet that meets 50% of their recommended daily intakes by introducing a variety of foods from the Core Food Groups (breads, cereals, dairy, meat and meat alternatives, fruits and vegetables). You will find our Menus on display in each Centre, generally just outside the kitchen. Our qualified / experienced cook prepares nutritious meals each day and adheres to Safe Food Handling Practices. Any staff working on meals has received the appropriate training on food handling / hygiene, menu planning. All our children enjoy meal times during which we encourage good eating habits.
