Fidgety Frogs started out as a small pre-school in the sleepy little town of Douglas Park back in 2003. The need for childcare both in the local and surrounding areas continued to grow as did Fidgety Frogs reputation in providing a high quality educational experience for children. Our Douglas Park Centre has gone from strength to strength and is highly sought after by parents who travel many kilometres to bring their loved ones to our Centre. For the past 3 years we have provided a high quality school readiness program that has helped our pre-school children get a head start on others attending “big” school for the first time. In 2007, with the help of our local primary school, we established a before and after school facility at Douglas Park Primary School. This is a great facility for our “schoolies” where they get individual care in familiar surroundings.

In 2009 we had a great opportunity to help out a number of families in Wollondilly and Campbelltown that were struggling with the uncertainty around the collapse of the ABC Learning Centre business. Our Centres at Thirlmere and St Helens Park have now transitioned over to Fidgety Frogs Early Learning Centres and provide the same level of care provided at our highly regarded Douglas Park Centre. We were able to provide stable employment to the staff as well so this has helped provide a stable childcare experience for children and parents. Both Centres, which have operated for many years under different names, continue to grow and provide a high level of childcare and education. We pride ourselves in having a very stable and happy team of qualified teachers at both Centres. We continue to work with parents and local schools and businesses to look at ways we can improve childcare services and education in the community as well as looking for ways to support local endeavours.

Our Mittagong Centre, our newest, joined the Fidgety Frogs family in early 2010. This great Centre and team are providing a high quality educational experience to the children of the Southern Highlands. The Centre has been established for many years and during that time has had a stable qualified team of teachers who love their job. The Centre is in a great location away from busy roads and enjoys wonderful facilities, which are always being improved.
